Not heading down to Coachella? It may seem like everyone and their mother is bailing for Indio, but we promise you'll be in good company this weekend the others staying in town. In fact, there's plenty of action happening in L.A. over the next few days to keep you busy with your fellow No-chella comrades that it would be a shame to let your FOMO keep you from enjoying yourself in L.A. this weekend. So let that FOMO go and enjoy your weekend in L.A. with this guide to the best local happenings and events that don't require schlepping out to the desert.

If you were in Miami this weekend, chances are you were raging it up at the 15th Ultra Music Festival in Downtown Miami. With performances by Steve Aoki, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, and Deadmau5, the festival was nothing short of amazing. So, in case you want to piece together your Ultra experience, check out some of the coolest photos from the weekend.

When Swedish House Mafia came to town over the weekend for the two final shows on their One Last Tour before heading to Ultra Music Festival, everyone expected they'd go out with a bang. Given the routine awesomeness of their live show stage productions, the final blowout had to top all else, and the Swedish trio certainly delivered. For two nights at Masquerade Motel in Los Angeles State Historic Park, their two-hour set from the monolithic LED wall of a stage was complemented by a psychedelic laser light show, sparkling pyrotechnics, fake snow and bubbles blasted into the crowd of 35,000 (per night!) and vibrant fireworks exploding in the sky above. Check out this Instagram roundup capturing stellar moments from Friday and Saturday night and see the Swedish House madness for yourself.

Despite being notorious weather wimps, a little rain and frigid temperatures did not keep 35,000 beat-hungry Angelenos from raging Friday at Masquerade Motel, Swedish House Mafia's mini music festival held over the weekend and completely outdoors in Los Angeles State Historic Park. As the first of their two nights in L.A. on their One Last Tour, billed as the Swedish EDM trio's final tour together, L.A. was unwavering in its commitment to donning its skimpiest raver gear and making the most of Masquerade Motel's less than hospitable weather conditions and muddy grounds up until the final seconds of "Save The World."

Last night in NYC, ArtWorks hosted their 2013 fundraiser at the Dream Downtown, Scarlett Johansson stepped out with her co-star Benjamin Walker for the opening night of their play "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," International DJ Zedd performed a sold-out show at Finale, and so much more!

On Saturday, music lovers of all ages flocked to Merriweather Post Pavilion for Virgin Mobile's Annual FreeFest with headliners Skrillex and Jack White.
