The BFFs behind the Mason Jar Cocktail Shaker, Josh and Eric, were inspired by vintage kitchenware. After some prototyping and packaging, they found themselves in the positions to have manufacturers and supporters. They used Kickstarter to ask family and friends for only $5,000, but enough people ended up supporting the project that the boys are now faced with $57,000 and over 1,000 orders for their first run of Mason Shakers. These Brooklyn based Virginia bred cocktail enthusiasts may be on to something: a demand for nostalgic goodness that can only come in a Mason Jar.
