On Tuesday, February 9th, from 6pm to 8pm, in the stunningly appointed Libertine Library at Gild Hall (15 Gold Street at Platt, second floor) a trio of remarkable authors Rachel Sherman (The First Hurt), Mark Shulman (Scrawl), and Meg Mullins (The Rug Merchant, Dear Strangers) will read from their works and sign books. Pen Parentis, the sponsor of this open arts event series, is a local organization that provides resources to authors who are also parents. Borders will be accepting credit cards and cash for any purchases. Pen Parentis founders, local authors M. M. De Voe and Arlaina Tibensky, will then lead these three incredible authors in discussing how parenthood has affected their successful literary careers. Full bar is available at happy hour prices from the private, upstairs bartender.
Admission is free. Donations warmly accepted.
