This November, prepare to set sail for the most extravagant and fanciful gathering of castaways, sailors, glittering mermaids, sea sirens, pirates, romantic sea captains and scalawags ever known to New York!
As seen on NHK, MTV and SPIN, the Dances of Vice Festival returns on November 20-22, 2009 in a three-day nautical themed flight of fancy that will be held in several stunning and exclusive locations: Fort Hamilton (ca. 1825), a handsome historical armory which overlooks the New York Bay - The Montauk Club (ca. 1889), an opulent Victorian clubhouse modeled after a Venetian palace - and The Vault of Element - architectural marvels of the 19th Century, all.
The festival program will feature live music ranging from classical to rock ballads, international guests, fashion shows, dance, performance art, vendors, and ballroom dancing, among other chimerical amusements. |

Runner’s World isn’t as disturbing as the recent Vanity Fair piece: http://www.newsy.com/videos/vanity_fair_on_palin_what_s_it_all_mean which chronicles friction between her and the McCain campaign.
All of a sudden she’s in the spotlight again, which probably isn’t good for her future prospects: liberals will be reminded why they hate her and conservatives may not be able to suffer through a couple more years of drama. Thanks for the Steve Martin link, that was great.
