On Tuesday, February 9th, from 6pm to 8pm, in the stunningly appointed Libertine Library at Gild Hall (15 Gold Street at Platt, second floor) a trio of remarkable authors Rachel Sherman (The First Hurt), Mark Shulman (Scrawl), and Meg Mullins (The Rug Merchant, Dear Strangers) will read from their works and sign books. Pen Parentis, the sponsor of this open arts event series, is a local organization that provides resources to authors who are also parents. Borders will be accepting credit cards and cash for any purchases. Pen Parentis founders, local authors M. M. De Voe and Arlaina Tibensky, will then lead these three incredible authors in discussing how parenthood has affected their successful literary careers. Full bar is available at happy hour prices from the private, upstairs bartender.
Admission is free. Donations warmly accepted.

I'm interested to see how the new "Magic Mouse" can be used with programs like PhotoShop in the future. There could be some great possibilities there. It seems every Apple product I end up getting becomes addicting. I got a new MacBook Pro recently. Since I was in the market for one I wound up getting it from the site below. It's worth a look if you want a MacBook... but I hope the new mouse will work with it.
