Today we ponder what Katy Perry and Marky Mark (Zuckerberg) talked about yesterday, we find out about Ashton Kutcher's weird bathroom habits, and into one Murray Hill resident's serious hoarding habits. It's all kinds of crazy today, and you should get in on it!

    1. Presented without commentary (which is hard for me): Today's Post did an entire story offering up advice on protecting your office space from loony gun men that lose it. I'm quoting this in its entirety: "When a gun-wielding maniac starts shooting up the workplace, duck behind a file cabinet! That's the safest place for workers who can't escape the room or building." Um. [Post]

    2. The Knicks are relevant again. Hurray! [WWD]

[Chloë Sevigny and Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio sitting court-side.]

    3. To read: Bono's NY Times piece on what he learned from Sargent Shriver. [NYT]

    4. Check out the 6 most bangable chicks in American history, Martha Washington was a BABE! [Howaboutwe]

    5. Katy Perry visited the Facebook offices yesterday. What in the world would the conversation between her and Marky Mark sound like? Ned Hepburn comes pretty close I think. Preeeetty, Preeeetty Close. [NedHepburn] [Photo#2]

    6. There was a giant mafia bust in NYC yesterday with over 127 suspected members of the mob arrested in a giant organized crime crackdown. The names are stuff of movies: "Tony Bagels," "Johnny Pizza," "The Claw," "Vinny Carwash," "Jack the Whack." HILARIOUS. [NYDN]

    7. Speaking of mobsters, Morgan Stanley just poached the top bond trader from Goldman Sachs. [JohnCarney]

    8. Fred Armisen talks to Blackbook about his new show "Portlandia" and life after "SNL." [BB] The Times reviewed the show today. [NYT]

But, if you're a fan of Kurt Andersen's opinion (as this blogger is), you won't be watching. [@kbandersen]

    9. Ashton Kutcher pees sitting down. In case you were wondering...[@mrskutcher]

    10. What's everyone reading this weekend? The Atlantic asked, they answered. [Atlantic]

    11. Noah Kalina, a personal fav, has just put up a link of the photographers on Tumblr to follow! [Noahkalina]

    12. And in more photography news. This guy, Laffler, is unbelievable. I can't stop looking at his photos capturing life's little moments of magic. You won't be able to either so wait and look at this site when you have time on your hands to kill. [Lafflerphotography] [thanks @clairedwillett!]

    13. The Top 10 Things I Hate About New York Nightlife. This blogger put together a solid hatelist. [Hatelist]

    14. Arianna Huffington agrees with the surgeon general: breastfeeding should be less hassle. [HuffPo]

    15. I'm a giant fan of Cosmo's editor in chief, Kate White. So, I was psyched to read about what her apartment looks like. She hosted a giant cocktail party for "The Innocence Project." [WWD]

    16. 30 Rock FTW. I missed last night's show but this spot-on NBC programming chart is great. [NYM]

    17. The Marriott chain is pulling porn from their tv menus, and not on moral grounds. There's no money in it anymore because everyone is online. [USA]

    18. Soup Soup's Anthony De Rosa thinks that the Minnesota Post put out a pretty great Tumblr. I agree with him and think more local newspapers should utilize the platform. [@antderosa]

    19. The VIP Art Fair (acronym for "viewing in private" heh), is the first art fair to take place exclusively online. Opening tomorrow, the 8-day fair offers a broad range of international artists and galleries, video tours of artist studios and private collections worldwide. [Flavorwire] [VIPartfair]

    20. Are "info-nibbles" like status updates, tweets, and news briefs actually increasing our appetite for in-depth, long-form writing? [Atlantic]

    21. Gawker ran this cool bloody ad campaign. Great work! [JamesDel]

    22. WOW.ZA. Take a look at the before and after picture of Shanghai in only twenty years time! 1990 vs. 2010. [Elspethjane]

    23. Ms. Portman can now claim what appears to be a unique distinction: she may be the only Golden Globe-winning actress to simulate sex on screen with two former members of the cast "That 70s Show." [VVoice]

    25. Schmidt Happens. Why is Eric Schmidt stepping down at Google? [TheNewYorker]

    26. Meetup.com is like the grandfather of the NY Tech scene, and that's how cofounder Matt Meeker talks. [Soup] The Long and Curious history of Meetup.com. [Observer]

    27. Whaa?! Check out Co's Murray Hill apartment below. She has so much crap in her apartment that she has to tackle the door open just to get in. [Curbed]

    28. And, speaking of garbage...check out this hotel in Madrid that's built out of garbage and other detritus recovered from European beaches. [InOtherNews]
