Cul-de-Sac

Cul-de-Sac
The Place: Cul-de-Sac is a Canadian-owned, American-style burger bar that is more famous for their fries than anything else. True to its Canadian roots, Cul-de-Sac’s claim to fame is poutine, which is fries topped with cheese and gravy. This little dish is such a hit that people specifically go to Cul-de-Sac for it after a night out. The Crowd: As this spot is located in the heart of the Lan Kwai Fong area where all sorts of clubs and bars are at, you get a random mix of people. During summers there is a noticeable spike in university exchange students from the US and younger party people on their college breaks. The Dish: Poutine. One word of caution though, eating poutine will send you straight into a food coma, definitively ending your night out. [Photo via]
