Whitepod challenges the common misconception that eco-tourism only goes hand-in-hand with exotic, tropical destinations. This eco-friendly ski Alpine ski resort offers 15 domes in Dents-du-Midi, a very private and picturesque ski area in Les Cerniers. Despite being a luxury resort, guests are expected to have a sense of adventure, as guests are given a map, a torch, crampons, and a walking stick upon check-in and are expected to make their own way to their pod - which is 15 minutes away from the reception base camp! That, however, is a small price to pay for the 7 kilometers of ski slopes, complete with private ski lifts and an enchanting view of Lake Geneva.
