Even before Todd Selby gave it his treatment for the Times, this restaurant (which has been around for four decades), has been a local favorite for both residents and visitors of Mallorca, Spain. The only thing on the menu is Paella - which means it has to be good. And trust me, it is so so so good that you will be dreaming of your next large pot of the stuff well into the winter. We loved this place so much we had to go back two years in a row. Besides the Paella, the view is unbelievable. Seriously. Adding to the beauty of the place is the fact that it is difficult to get to - you have to take a boat or very long hike and both ways require some serious stair climbing - a small price to pay for what is sure to be your favorite lunch spot in the Mediterranean too.

Getting there: you can rent boats from Palma - it's a gorgeous trip (around 1 hr):
The stairs can be tricky, especially with a baby stroller, so make sure you have some help!
