Guest of a Guest D.C. covers the People, Places & Parties of the political universe; from the cobbelstones of Georgetown, to the impending trolley tracks of H street NE and everywhere in between. So come along for the ride and be the guest of a guest as we bring you the pulse of the District.

Managing Editor

Sophie Pyle: After making her debut on MTV International's scripted docu-drama Blonde Charity Mafia, Sophie finished her journalism studies at UNC-Chapel Hill. She primarily covers events, entertainment and gossip, and you'll find her at many happy hours and charity events around the city with her Nikon.

Event Manager

Laura Fels: Born and raised in NYC, Laura’s love for a good party made her a perfect fit for Guest of a Guest DC. Self-proclaimed obsessed with all things fashion, lifestyle and media related, you can usually find her perusing Twitter for the latest trends, scoping out a sample sale, designing her latest scrapbook or breaking down on the dance floor. When not leaving her mark on campus as an eccentric, yet hardworking, Georgetown senior, in her spare time, Laura aspires to be crowned the next Disney princess.

Fashion Correspondent

Lindsay Sustarsic: Born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, Lindsay kissed the golden state goodbye to attend George Washington University as a marketing/special events undergrad. As the ultimate bi-coastal girl, Lindsay’s LA flare brings a unique twist to Guest of a Guest DC. When she’s not trolling fashion blogs or playing with her pug Mops, you’ll find her scoping any place with a good wine selection, bustin’ a move on the dance floor, or working to uncover what happened to her Hogwarts acceptance letter.

Writers

Lucien Zeigler: He spends most of his time working in foreign relations, but likes Guest of a Guest because it reminds him of his days as Social Chair.
Morgan Markey: Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Morgan has held several internship positions within art galleries and websites related to DC’s vibrant music and art culture. She recently graduated from GWU with a BA in Art History and in her free time, loves to explore the city and try new things. She also writes for GofG's Global site.
Nicole Mills: Hailing from the preppy suburbs of Connecticut, Nicole will only settle on metropolitan areas from here on out. Known for her social media prowess from chronicling her life as a tall girl (@TallGirlProblem), she can also find the right Instagram filter for any moment. You can find her drinking iced-coffee through the coldest winter days and she is not embarrassed to admit that she considers the show, The O.C., her glory days. Her back-up career? A hip-hop music video vixen.
Kyle O'Donnell: Originally from a suburb in Massachusetts that you've never heard of, Kyle is currently studying English at Georgetown University although he's not sure how useful his degree will be as a future cast member of "The Real Housewives" franchise. He balances his time between re-watching "The Hills" and re-reading "Tales of the Jazz Age."
Carole Zidouemba: A native of Burkina Faso in West Africa, Carole spent her early years growing up in Washington, DC. Having lived all over the world in places like Denmark, Italy, and Burkina Faso, Carole brings her international experience and perspective to GofG. She holds dual degrees in marketing and communication from the University of Maryland. Carole is currently working towards an associate’s degree in Information Systems. In her spare time, Carole enjoys fashion, Barbie, house music, and discovering new ways to utilize her creative marketing and advertising experience.
Leigh Genetti: Leigh manages the @GofGDC Instagram account. Originally from a Midwestern town only a square-mile in size, Leigh enjoys living anywhere with better weather and a population higher than 1,000. An entrepreneur and business owner, she has owned a digital marketing company for over four years and runs the Washington lifestyle blog, Young&StylishDC. Known for her preppy style and love of bourbon, cigar aficionado Leigh swears she'll never move above the Mason Dixon line again. Despite her relocation to the south, this University of Michigan alumni spreads the Wolverine gospel any chance she gets.
Ebonie Johnson Cooper: Living between between DC and Brooklyn these days is pretty sweet for Ebonie. Her bubbly social butterfly and sassy personality make it easy to enjoy life in both cities while never missing a beat. An alum of NC A&T State University, in 2005 she began her career at MTV & BET Networks in NYC and later continued on to the presidential campaign trail in 2008 in Ohio. Ebonie's since become her on boss at social responsibility firm, Friends of Ebonie, philanthropist, NYU grad student, and freelance writer.
