Managing Editor

Sophie Pyle: After making her debut on MTV International's scripted docu-drama Blonde Charity Mafia as the snarky brunette, Sophie finished her studies at UNC-Chapel Hill and began a boutique social media company, Vox Worldwide. When she's not online or playing with her cat Noodle, you'll find her at many happy hours and charity events around the city.

Event Manager

Lucien Zeigler: He spends most of his time working in foreign relations, but likes Guest of a Guest because it reminds him of his days as Social Chair.

Writers

Alexa Lombardo: She grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia with the dream of one day becoming Secretary of State, but after one year at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, she realized a career in foreign affairs did not lie in her future. Following this realization she has since worked at various PR and event planning firms and recently interned at Hearst Magazines in New York City. Her fascination with media, entertainment, and nightlife naturally led her to Guest of a Guest. When she isn’t busy being a diligent college senior or working for G of G DC, Alexa can usually be found in a bookstore, on a dance floor, or at a favorite brunch spot.
Alex Max: Born in Chicago and raised in an amalgamation of Colorado, Britain, Chicago, and New York City, Alex presently resides in Foggy Bottom where he is studying International Economics at George Washington University’s Elliot School of International Affairs. With a social networking site under development, a history of working in both NYC restaurants and trading firms, he is always looking for his next hustle. Alex’s love for journalism, photography, and all things nightlife made him a perfect fit for GofG DC.
