We're Hiring An Event Manager In DC!

    Do you want to become a part of the Guest of a Guest team in DC? We are looking for an Event Manager who will be in charge of heading up photography sales and event coverage management. Keep reading for more details on the position and how to apply!

    This person needs to be able to manage our photographers, our daily calendar, build client relations and sales, understand the event and nightlife scene of the city and be a positive brand ambassador.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Managing photographers, daily events coverage, calendar as well as billing and invoices

    Developing relationships with current clients as well as prospective clients

    Making in-person sales calls and meetings with clients, PR firms, agencies, etc.

    Building revenue and sales each quarter

    The ideal candidate should have (be):

    BA / BS degree or equivalent

    Highly motivated, self directed

    Competent and proficient with computers including word processing (MSWord / Google Docs), social media tools, basic photo editing, online publishing software, etc.

    Background in PR and/or Sales preferable

    Quick Study, comfortable in social situations

    Detail-oriented and responsible

    Ability to manage multiple people at once

    Understand the event and nightlife scene of DC
