On Thursday night, the Phillips Collection, in partnership with the British Embassy, hosted a special Phillips After 5 honoring the museum's current exhibit of drawings and sculpture by British artist Antony Gormley.
The evening included an interpretation of Gormley’s career-long exploration of “bodies in space” with models from Neiman Marcus Mazza Gallerie in ready-to-wear fall fashions by contemporary UK designers.
Guests grooved to DJ Danny Harris's British Invasion set, enjoyed treats available at Tryst in the Phillip's Cafe, and sampled Tom Ford fragrances in the shop.
Phillips After 5 is an ongoing program held on the first Thursday of the month and every Thursday in August. Guests will always enjoy a mix of art and entertainment: the evenings include live music, food, cash bar, and gallery talks with exhibitions, lectures, films, and performances.
