Corcoran Opening New Exhibitions This Month

    This February, the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design opens new exhibitions featuring old Hollywood, art by Andy Warhol, and a blast from DC's past. The exhibitions are:

    -Shooting Stars: Publicity Stills from Early Hollywood and Andy Warhol Portraits (February 9 - April 21) and -Pump Me Up: D.C. Subcultures of the 1980s (February 23 - April 7)

    The Corcoran also announced March 22 as the date of their annual Artini event. View photos from last year's Artini HERE.

    Corcoran Uncorked [Wednesday evenings 5–9 pm at the Corcoran] continue through February. Uncorked showcases drinks from the city’s top mixologists and wine directors in Todd Gray’s newest restaurant, Muse at the Corcoran, plus tours, music, and more.

    On Wednesday, February 27, join exhibition curator and graffiti historian Roger Gastman for a lecture and book signing, plus a special late-night exhibition viewing as part of Corcoran Uncorked.
