DC's skyline just got a little more colorful. Innovative Danish lighting designer Jesper Kongshaug recreated the effect of the Northern Lights on all four sides of the Kennedy Center's façade, which will glow from 5:30 to 11pm until March 17--and the result is absolutely stunning.
The light show is a part of the Kennedy Center's Nordic Cool festival.
Next time you're driving around at night, go the scenic route and take the Roosevelt bridge.
The Nordic Cool festival features more than 750 artists from across the Nordic region, filling the Center with theater, dance, music, art, literature, cuisine, and more.
