"Probably my favorite art event in D.C. It only happens twice a year but it's such a great hybrid between art and nightlife. The museum keeps the galleries open late and offers tours until 10 p.m. Eventually everyone ends up migrating to the atrium area where the Hirshhorn always offers great musical acts and really out-there performance artists. After Hours has seriously broad appeal and the eclectic crowd makes the event that much more fun. Each After Hours I've attended has eventually devolved into an all ages dance party."
