Ford's Theater

Ford's Theater - 511 10th Street NW
This historic Washington DC theater has been used for live stage performances since the 1860s but it is best known as the place where President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated on April 14th, 1865. The show still goes on at Ford's Theater, which was renovated in 2009 and still hosts vibrant theatrical productions and musicals to a warmly receptive crowd. [Photos via, via]
