The day will feature a full day of polo fun, equestrian entertainment, food from top DC restaurants, magic shows, a celebrity amateur polo match featuring ambassadors and DC celebs, and two action-packed polo matches.
The Green Cup of Polo is a charity event aimed at bringing Washingtonians, corporate leaders, environmentalists, NGOs, and the Washington diplomatic corps together to network and demonstrate their commitment to protecting the environment and fight climate change. The event is the first-ever certified ”˜green’ sporting event in the country supported by local, national and international businesses.
Funding raised will go to support three prominent environmental non-profits: The American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), EarthEcho International, and Equestrian Partners In Conservation (EPIC).
