| Description |
Opulence, luxury, and culture will be on full display at Washington National Opera’s “Winter in Russia”. Formal dinners will be held at embassies around the city and guests will convene at the Russian Embassy for dancing, entertainment and dessert. There will be an ice nar with Russian vodka, a traditional Russian Tea Room, and as well as costumes from the Washington National Opera’s costume studio. The evening will be filled with glamour and excitement, with a host of congresspersons, senators, Supreme Court justices, businesspeople, media elite, and ambassadors expected to attend. New York’s famed society bandleader Peter Duchin and his Orchestra will also be performing live throughout the evening.
