2011 Wine Tasting and Charity Dinner

Join Uncorked on the evening of November 17, 2011 to taste a variety of wines paired with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Master of Ceremonies: Dave McIntyre, wine columnist for The Washington Post. Host Committee: Kris & Tracey Schroeder, Kent Duffy, Mark Gaswirth, Johnny Raih, Jennifer Utz, and David White. The evening begins with appetizers and a sparkling wine. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner is then served with three white wines and three red wines, hand-selected by Dave McIntyre. Giveaways and a silent auction cap off the night (everything from baseball tickets to rare bottles of wine). Proceeds from the event benefit So Others Might Eat (SOME)., a Washington-DC based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless.
