The W celebrated the DC arrival of Joey Wolffer and her magic Styleliner bus with a party last night in their Living Room Jewel Box bar. Guests enjoyed $10 Saint Germain cocktails, a live DJ, massages by the W's Bliss salon, and previewed the accessories on models styled by John Paul Hamilton while waiting for the line to the Styleliner to break. Once inside, ladies were treated to Joey's one-of-a-kind fashion accessories from all over the world. More»

We have all heard the adage, “dogs are a man’s best friend." Well, if that is the case then fashion is certainly a close runner up, as was displayed Saturday when both canine and couture came together to benefit the Washington Humane society at Fashion for Paws. The worthy cause had the National Building Museum filled to the brim with all things fashionable and furry, and all of the guests were there to watch 70 models take the runway accompanied by some seriously decked-out dogs.  The models not only looked amazing in outfits provided by Tysons Galleria, but each one also raised at least $5,000 for the Humane Society. Such model humanitarians.

The night was filled with the hottest looks for spring both on and off the runway, and was one of my favorite events this year. Check out who avoided any Fashion Faux Pas at Fashion for Paws and looked exceptionally fabulous at this spring style awakening.

If you love it, pin it! If you hate it, change it by getting your booty on it next time.

Ever wonder if First Lady Michelle Obama's wardrobe was always as designer clad as it is now? Or if Hillary Clinton has always been buttoned up in pristine political attire? What about Sarah Palin's stints as a beauty queen?

While these ladies are among the District's most influential, politicized and well known, they are also consistently scrutinized by the American public for their bold fashion choices...and occasionally their faux pas! We've compiled some of the best snapshots of these leading ladies throughout the years with everything from gorgeous inaugural gowns to '80s college dorm room attire!

Over the past four years in the District, First Lady Michelle Obama has taken her role in the White House by storm by advocating her husband's policy priorities, promoting her own causes like her Get Fit campaign, and of course, and perhaps most famously, for her fabulous fashion finds! Ever since joining her husband on the campaign trail for the 2008 election, the First Lady has certainly been turning heads in the fashion world. More»

What's more amazing, the cherry blossoms blooming in Washington this week or being able to find incredible artisan jewelry on Etsy? There were so many beautiful pieces on the site, all of which can be worn all season or be given out as gifts. Alas, here are our ten favorite cherry blossom jewelry finds on Etsy: More»

How refreshing it was when I finally got a link to Candace Ourisman's style blog, Secretly Fancy, today. I had heard of her blog from a few stylish friends, all of us in pursuit of a blog that shows Washington's elegance and conservatism without falling back on Brooks Brothers, Milly or Tibi. [Note: We love BB, Milly and Tibi.] More»

[Johnson shows off her selections of gently used fashion]

Even though Krista Johnson recently moved her high-end consignment boutique Ella Rue across the street to a bigger and better space, you don't have to say goodbye to the old location just yet. Before closing up shop in the former home for good, Johnson reopened the doors this past Saturday for a two weekend warehouse sale featuring some seriously discounted designer duds.
