Last night, Which Wich Superior Sandwiches opened in Arlington with a special VIP Preview Party ahead of it's official opening on Tuesday, May 21 with owners Irfaan Lalani, Faisal Lalani and Shalin Patel. Guests paired sandwiches with complimentary beer, wine, house chips, spiked hand-dipped milkshakes, and welcomed Which Wich to the DC area with red Sharpie drawings and messages on their brown bag order forms. On Friday evening, Exclusiva Eventi hosted a fashion show at the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown with designers Tara Milani, Nathalie Kraynina and Pure Elegance. Proceeds from the evening benefited Operation Smile, an international medical charity that provides free surgeries for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. Guests sipped on cocktails, nibbled on canapes from Design Cuisine, and met with Sunbrella exec Greg Rosendale. Last night, the Recording Academy hosted an intimate awards show at The Hamilton. A special Grammy was given to the Library of Congress for its work in preserving historic music and other audio recordings, and Jennifer Hudson received a Recording Artist Coalition Award for her charity work. More»
