On Friday, Midtown held the grand opening of its newly renovated 3rd floor loft space, Red Bar. Castmates from The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad were on hand to help clubbers break in the new space, and these reality stars brought a little extra drama and excitement to the grand opening. Bottles were poppin' and everyone was on the prowl hoping to snag a last minute Valentine, whether that Valentine would be a reality TV star or one of Midtown's sexy regulars. More»

On Friday night, the Corcoran Gallery of Art hosted the 9th Annual SOME Jr Gala for hundreds of 20-somethings in support of So Others May Eat. Guests indulged in bites and cocktails, took photos in the photobooth, and danced to music by Blue Tips Rhythm Revue. Bonus points to the event planners for providing mini bottles of Vitamin Water at the door upon exiting. More»
On Wednesday, socials and media attended the 2012 Moet Hennessy Winemaker Tour at The Occidental. Moet Hennessy pulled restaurateurs and hospitality gurus from Washington to Delaware and Maryland to Virginia, and treated guests to a variety of wines, cheeses, hors d'oeuvres and interactive private wine seminars. On Tuesday, we threw a party with One Medical, the San Francisco-based medical practice that just opened up two offices in Washington (1627 Eye Street NW, 1001 G Street NW). Last night, the Mighty Pint hosted guests for a Super Bowl party that featured steep discounts on their "Giant" pizzas, pitchers, and Jager ice luge shots. Although the bar is usually the home-away-from-home for anything Pittsburgh (Steelers, Penn State, and even the Penguins), everyone came by to cheer on the Patriots, or the Giants, and weigh in on the commercials and Madonna's epic halftime show. Luke's Wings held their fourth annual Fashion Takes Flight fundraiser on Saturday night at Nationals Stadium.
