Nick's Riverside Grill on the Georgetown Waterfront was the place to be late on Wednesday night for Halloween. Guests paid a mere $40 for five hours of open bar, light hors d'oeuvres, and music by DJ Esso...but seeing Pergrin Pervez and Chaucer Hwang perfectly nail a Gangnam Style costume was priceless. Socials kicked off Halloween night with Jameson Black Barrel whiskey at Irish Whiskey Public House, which was recently named the best Irish Pub of the Year by Washington City Paper. On Saturday night, Andre Wells, largely regarded as one of the best event planners in Washington, threw an opulent Costume Gala at the Decatur House.

We're used to spotting Andre around town dressed to the nines in a suit, so seeing the 2009 Washingtonian Magazine Style Setter totally nail an RGIII costume was just too fantastic for words. More»

Over 1,000 costumed guests monster-mashed to music by the Morrison Brothers BandWhite Ford Bronco, The Rude Nudies, and four DJs with multiple bars scattered about the Carnegie Library on Saturday night. VIPs kept to the upstairs foyer, which had its own DJ dance floor and premium liquor bars. On Saturday night, Black Jack hosted a wicked Halloween party for regulars of the popular 14th street venue. The restaurant won a RAMMY award this year for having the "hottest restaurant bar scene of the year," and is a part of the famous Black Restaurant Group (which includes BlackSalt, Pearl Dive, Addie's, etc). Incredible costumes were plentiful at the W Hotel's Neon Nights Halloween Party on Friday Night, as guests wore everything from neon 80's garb to glow-in-the-dark Tron Legacy costumes. As if celebrating Halloween on DC's most famous rooftop with a view of the National Mall wasn't enough to raise morale, a portion of the proceeds went to the Washington Humane Society. More»

On Friday night, DJ Neekola celebrated her birthday and the launch of her new business, Pelonkey, at L2 Lounge in Georgetown. The costumes certainly got creative; we spotted Eggs Over Easy, some neon 80's workout girls, Lance Armstrong on steroids, Richard Simmons, and two ridiculously awesome Daft Punk helmets, just to name a few.
