[Garage doors were up for the packed bar scene at Rumors] Green and orange wristbands glistened on the wrists on many throughout the streets of Washington D.C.'s Dupont Circle this past weekend. The beautiful Saturday called for plenty of "normal" trends like green hair/body decor and roof top parties. Even President Obama celebrated with some Guinness. Green flooded the urban streets, dance floors and glass pitchers making for the year's ultimate day of Irish debauchery-- the way St. Patrick would have liked it, of course. It's not hard to tell who mastered the mightiest Irish celebratory uniform with these many top contenders. Now, all of you who threw on a lame green polo should feel disappointed for your lack of holiday effort, even if you think you went above and beyond when you popped your collar. Here are the top trends of the holiday: More»

Shirlington's first Shirlie's Girl's Night Out is tonight, and we're going to be celebrating with them so smile for our cameras! We're not known for being the best dressed city (actually, we're known for being the worst) so I've enlisted the help of our friends at What2WearWhere.com for the perfect outfit for this weekend's super glamorous and ultra-Washington Meridian Ball. More»
Do your boobs hang low? Do they wobble to-and-fro? You should probably fix that!
Susan Nethero, the woman behind custom lingerie fitting shop Intimacy (there's a new one in Tysons Corner Mall) is in town and actually hosted a party last night with 100 lucky ladies with Tommy McFly and Kelly Collis. She's been on Oprah five times and loads of other shows, and even got Rosie O'Donnell to get in touch with her feminine side: "she ordered dozens of them in all different styles and colors, like reds and hot pinks, when she found out how comfortable and fun they could be!" Nethero said.
I got the chance to talk to the famous bra lady yesterday before the party, and get fitted by her! Turns out I was COMPLETELY wrong, both the number and the cup size, when I went in there. Find out what size I really am, and find out what we're all doing wrong in "10 Things Bra Whisperer Susan Nethero Whispered To Me!"
While most of Washington's chicest ladies will be stocking up their closets tonight at the District Sample Sale, still more will be stocking their vanities with the season's best makeup. Here are some of the hot shades that will get you through the cold days ahead. More>>

Rock Creek Social Club co-founder Modele "Modi" Oyewole, 24, knows how to pack a club on a Tuesday night. When most of the city is still recovering from the previous weekend’s sins, “Goodlife Tuesdays” is a weekly party at Recess Nightclub hosted by the Rock Creek Social Club that features a sampling of the area’s best DJ’s. It just might be the wildest weekly party in all of D.C. More»

On Sunday, we hopped to Charming Charlie in National Harbor for a tea social put on by TheGirlfriendGroup, a global organization founded by Vanessa Maddox dedicated to aspiring women to network, share, and encourage. Ladies (dressed in girly summer frocks accessorized with flowers and hats) brought their favorite teacups and delighted in refreshments and exclusive TheGirlfriendGroup discounts on Charming Charlie items. Our favorite teacups at the event were the ones made by local artist Manouchka Massillon.

The Capital Club held their 19th annual Sinatra Soiree on Thursday at the National Building Museum.
Since this party has been in play for almost two decades, there are certain fun things we have come to expect. Men typically dress in bright summer fashions, a favorite among them being Nantucket reds and "critter pants," and ladies in bright frocks from lines like DVF and Milly. One of the sponsors of the event was new clothier Jack Robie, so we have a feeling we'll be seeing more of the line's brightly colored, preppy styles around town. Another typical scene: by the end of the night, the youngest attendees walked out of the venue with a stack of colorful cups that made their way back to their Georgetown or Glover Park kitchens.
