This past weekend, the Smith Center For The Healing And The Arts hosted a Pop Up Boutique on U Street to raise funds to support 'Smith Center programming for people living with cancer and the greater community.'Supporters and fashionable passers-by shopped at the temporary space that included new, vintage, and custom accessories and clothing from designers such as Yves Saint Laurent Saint Lauren Paris, Marc Fisher, Calvin Klein, Burberry, and Michael Kors.
With donations from over 35 donors and upwards of a thousand pieces, the event raised over $5,000. There are still a few pieces left, and the Pop Up shop will be reopening this weekend on Friday, June 29th and Saturday, June 30th.
