Crushin' It At Rugby Cafe

If Peter Pan were a young professional, Rugby would surely be his Neverland. This magical place boasts delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a welcoming, laidback atmosphere. Adorned with vintage music and rugby posters, leather armchairs, and charming staff, the restaurant is buzzing with a cool kid vibe.

While Rugby’s classic American menu offers a wide variety of options, they are best known for their burgers. House favorites include the Flankers burger, which is topped with blue cheese and mushrooms, and the Tristan’s burger, which is so large, is has to be held together with a steak knife!

Touting equal notoriety to Rugby’s burgers are its drinks. Sit at the bar stools under the antique clock frozen at 5 o’clock and choose from a wide selection of beer and booze. The star of the bar menu is definitely The Crush, which is made with fresh juice from an orange, grape fruit or a peach that they squeeze right in front of you.

One of the best aspects of Rugby is its welcoming and lively atmosphere, always inviting you to join in on the fun. With its weekly half-price burger nights on Tuesdays and themed bar events, the diners have many opportunities to fall into a nostalgic, college-style display of youthful, explicit “take no prisoners” fun.

As bartender Sinead Casey put it best, “It’s more than just a bar or restaurant for the staff and our clientele. It’s our base camp. It’s our fraternity. It’s our clubhouse: it’s home.”
