A Vanity Affair: Ask Miss A About Botox

by ARIELLE KRIEGER · July 23, 2010

Andrea Rodgers, of AskMissA, has never been one to shy away from taboo topics. Her love life blog and former stint of doling out relationship advice as Miss A on Latenightshots have touched upon every sensitive subject. This past Wednesday, Andrea Rodgers shared a peek into her personal life when she allowed guests at the event 'A Vanity Affair' in on her Botox experiences.

A Vanity Affair, presented by Dr. Howard Brooks, was held on Wednesday night at Georgetown Skin to celebrate fall's must-have clothing and makeup trends as well as the latest age-defying skin treatments. Dr. Brooks, of SKIN Cosmetic Dermatology of Georgetown, generously provided the first 100 guests with a one-month supply of Latisse as he and other industry experts discussed the benefits and latest advancements in various skin and beauty treatments.

Andrea Rodgers was not shy about discussing her use of Botox and bravely sat for guests as Dr. Brooks demonstrated the uses of Botox and Juvaderm. Many women deny having non-surgical cosmetic procedures performed as it is still a taboo topic, but Rodgers used this opportunity to show women they have nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed about and "it’s painless!"

The evening also consisted of Neiman Marcus' Liberty Jones featuring Fall 2010's looks and trends, complimentary makeovers by Le Metier de Beaute, and a scent bar by Jo Malone where guests customized their own fragrances.
