Last night, Gilt City had a carnival on the rooftop of the W Hotel that featured everything from the W's new summer cocktails to carnival games to carnival treats like corn dogs and candy apples. Bliss Spa (which has a post at the W) provided complimentary massages and nail polish changes, and everyone was going crazy for the gelato from Dolci Gelati. Models, provided by John Paul Hamilton, were dressed in hot pink duds from Lululemon Athletica.
Tickets were awarded for guests that could get the ball through the hole in the "crazy driver" game, whack the shark on Hammerhead, get a good score on shuffle-curling, or knock cans over with a baseball. Tickets could be reimbursed for craft cocktails, the only thing 20-somethings want more than a giant stuffed animal. Bring it on, summer!

LOL are these random cheeseballs suppose to be "famous" people of DC? I was at the event last night and it was a mess - they were only serving 4 (very complicated) cocktails that took the TWO bartenders way too long to make. It took maybe 30 minutes every time you wanted a drink! Not to mention the raffle was postponed until this morning - and they said they'd announce winners on the W's FB page - and they never were. Total shadiness.
