On Saturday, October 22nd, 20 girls competed for the title of Miss Sinergy 2012. Lydia Hu was crowned after girls were judged in four categories: on-stage interview, swimsuit, evening gown and final on-stage question.

A live performance by triple platinum Danish recording artist "Medina" accompanied the event. Special guests in attendance were Miss France, Chloe Mortaud; Miss Sweden, Ronnia Fornstedt; Miss Netherlands, Kelly Weekers; and Miss Portugal, Laura Goncalves.

The pageant keeps getting bigger and more competitive each year. It also has become, in some ways, a beauty convention; Miss World and Miss USA contenders from all over were at the pageant to see and be seen (and probably scope out their competition)! The reigning Miss Maryland USA, Allyn Rose [center in blue], got her start at the Miss Sinergy competition as Miss Sinergy 2010.

The Miss Sinergy competition benefits the Libby Ross Foundation. The winner spends her year championing various social causes, including but not limited to breast cancer, skin cancer, USO, and domestic violence.
