Making Strides For MS Pong-A-Thon

by Carole Zidouemba · June 5, 2012

On Saturday, Regional Food and Drink hosted the Making Strides for MS Pong-A-Thon. Thirty-two teams of two gathered to play the popular college game of beer pong that raised almost $5k.

All the proceeds will be going to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Chapter, to fund research and local programs.

The winning team of Jill and Josh Mersfeider won a $300 cash prize plus fun championship belts commemorating their achievement. The event also had a raffle that was well garnished from prizes donated by multiple sponsors such as tickets to the 2012 Citi Open Tennis Tournament, tickets to the 2012 AT&T National Golf Tournament (courtesy of the Tiger Woods Foundation), and tickets to the Making Strides Soiree happening on September 8 at the Historic Eastern Market North Hall.
