Last night, Feld Entertainment hosted media, VIPs and socials at Verizon for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus presents Fully Charged VIP opening night party! Getting “charged up” for the show, guests and their families were invited to preview the mega-watt experience as the Fully Charged ringmaster, clowns and other performers mingled with attendees. Guests clowned around with specialty cocktails like Pomegranate Powertinis, Fully Charged & Vodkas and Mega-Watt Manhattans, and bites like spinach and artichoke macaroni and cheese, foot long hot dogs and mini milkshakes.
Broadcast stars such as NBC 4’s Eun Yang, FOX 5’s Sherri Li Heller and FOX News’ Ed Henry plugged in their phones and treated their children to some face painting fun. Top Chef finalist and VOLT executive chef Bryan Voltaggio presented his new Pop Rocks lollipops with his family. Sports celebrities from the DC United team powered-up in full force – players Dwayne De Rosario, coach Ben Olsen and Josh Wolff joined general manager Dave Kasper to toast to the spectacle. Glossy, daily and blog editors also celebrated the most electric show to hit DC: Washingtonian’s Jill Hudson, the Washington Post’s Anne Kenderdine, Poshbrood’s Elizabeth Thorp and TheListRUOnIt’s Nycci Nellis collected to enjoy fully charged fare. Socialite Katherine Kennedy was also there, with Washington Wizards' LaRhonda Lombardi.
