Yesterday evening, Nival Salon and Spa and Jimmy Choo at the Collection at Chevy Chase teamed up with fashiontographer Walter Grio for an evening filled with fashion and photos that benefited the Shoot for Change Scholarship at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theater.
Walter Grio holds a prestigious position with Oracle, but loves fashion photos as a creative outlet and donates all of the proceeds to charity. All of them. When you get your photo taken by him at fashiontographer events, your image and clothing brands get added to your photo directory on fashiontographers.com. He also goes to elite fashion events in NYC, including his pick of shows at Mercedes-Benz fashion week.
Guests at the fashion event last night noshed on goodies from Occasions Catering while browsing Jimmy Choo's new spring collection (which is very sparkly and amazing!) and moseyed on upstairs to the newly renamed Nival Salon and Spa for photos by Walter.
We spotted Jimmy Choo's Margaret Cho, fashion guru Rodney Foster, Josh Hedrington, and Cashmere and Tweed's Elizabeth Hogue and Brenna Dolan. Nival fans perked up when lead hairstylist Neven Radovic, master colorist Ian McCabe, and Consuella Lopez made quick surprise visits to the event, a surprise since all of the stylists are swamped with pre-WHCD appointments!
Everyone left with a goodie bag for a free treatment at the salon.
Stay tuned for info about Nival's launch party next month!
