YPFP’s Affairs of State Concert and Fundraiser

    The Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) held its annual Affairs of State Concert and Fundraiser on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Georgetown’s City Tavern Club.  

    The event featured live music from the band U.S. Royalty and DJ Philippe Chetrit. Attendees were treated to a Gin Martini Bar sponsored by Smooth Ambler Spirit -- provider of the Greenbrier resort, a Whiskey Bar sponsored by John L. Sullivan Irish Whiskey, and desserts from O'B.     The Young Professionals in Foreign Policy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan organization with 7,000 members in 60 countries with offices in Washington DC, London, New York, and Brussels, according to Kay Floyd and Britney Miller, co-chairs of the Head of the State fundraiser. “Our mission is to foster the next generation of foreign policy leaders by providing young professionals with the knowledge, skills, exposure, and relationships to tackle critical global challenges over the course of their careers.”
