Baked & Wired
Area: Georgetown
Location: 1052 Thomas Jefferson Street
Baked & Wired serves loose teas, strong coffees, and baked goods and is the favorite spot of polo enthusiast Ray Regan.
“The whole cupcake phenomenon is kind of lame, but B&W draws in the local fans,” Regan told Guest of a Guest. Regan loves the unique appeal of Baked and Wired, which features local artwork and is family owned and operated in Georgetown.
“The best part is that there are Starbucks at both ends of Thomas Jefferson Street so it doesn't attract the tourists,” Regan added.

WTF?? You left out DC INSTITUTION m.e. swings, who, like misha's, roast their own coffee locally??? and you put DEAN AND DELUCA on the list??? WORST coffee ever. And anyone who has had m.e. swings coffee can tell you it's the most consistently excellent coffee out there. Whoever made this list has ZERO taste. Congrats :P
