Hundreds of fashionable socials and Washington VIPs packed the Liaison Hotel for a reception and fashion show to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. Fashions were provided by NAHM, designed by Alexandria "Ally" Hilfiger (Tommy's daughter) and Nary Manivong (featured in the new documentary Dressed).

The cocktail event began at 6:00 pm, and people browsed items in the silent auction, like an electric guitar signed by Lady Gaga.

[The evening culminated with a fabulous roof-top poolside after-party, which was perfect for the unseasonably warm night!]

Members of congress from both sides of the catwalk came to show their support: Congressman Tim Holden (D-PA), Congressman Dan Burton (R-IN), and Former Congressman Mike Oxley (R-OH).

“Fashion’s Fight Against MS is a unique opportunity to increase awareness about multiple sclerosis in a growing D.C. market,” said Chris Broullire, Chapter President of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Capital Chapter. “We are grateful for Shannon Rusbuldt’s commitment to this event and our mission to create a world free of MS.”

Ally Hilfiger's aunt has Multiple Sclerosis and the Hilfigers have always been supportive of MS charities. Nary Manivong was there to support Ally and showcase their designs to Washington. "We work on every look together," he said.

Other VIPs spotted:  Shannon Rusbuldt (editorial + runway model / event host), Alexandria Hilfiger (NAHM), Nary Manivong (NAHM), Kristen Berset (weekend sports anchor, USA9), Katherine Kennedy (socialite), Britt McHenry (ABC 7), Jennifer Berger (Editor, Washington Post's Fashion Washington), Chris Broullire (Chapter President, National Capital Chapter, National MS Society), Elizabeth Kane, and Lucius Polk.
