Great Party: The Newsbabes Bash, This Year Featuring Newsmen!

    Come join DC Newsbabes as they host their 4th annual Newsbabes Bash for Breast Cancer on Tuesday, June 19th from 7-9pm at The Howard Theatre.

    Survivors, supporters, politicos, and friends will enjoy specialty cocktails and a curated menu designed by Marcus Samuelsson, The Howard Theatre's consulting chef, and a desserts bar generously donated by Georgetown Cupcakes, Dolci Gelati, and Sweet Signatures as they dance the night away to the musical stylings of DC 101's DJ Flounder throughout the night.

    News babes attending include this year’s guest of honor and special speaker is Andrea Mitchell, Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent for NBC News, and well-known newswomen from the Washington-region’s top media affiliates. Event hosts for the 2012 event are Angie Goff (WRC/NBC4), Anita Brikman (WUSA9/CBS), Pamela Brown (WJLA7/ABC), Rebecca Cooper (WJLA7/ABC), Laura Evans (WTTG/Fox5), Doreen Gentzler (WRC/NBC4), Jennifer Griffin (Fox News Channel), Lesli Foster (WUSA9/CBS), Hillary Howard (WTOP/103.5FM), Brianna Keilar (CNN), Britt McHenry (WJLA7/ABC), Sue Palka (WTTG/Fox5), Andrea Roane (WUSA9/CBS), Cynné Simpson (WJLA7/ABC), Alison Starling (WJLA/ABC7), Shawn Yancy (WTTG/Fox5) and Eun Yang (WRC/NBC4).

    Help raise awareness for breast cancer and raise funds for this year's beneficiary, the GW Mammovan, the mobile mammography service providing free mammograms to women in underserved areas throughout the region, provided by the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates.
