In continuation with R Life Live at Renaissance Hotels, there are two great events to hit up at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View and the Renaissance Dupont Circle this Thursday. The events are a part of the 24-hour "Day of Discovery" series. The series has 152 Renaissance hotels all over the world hosting unique artists and musical acts to help guests and locals discover something new!

At the Dupont location [1143 New Hampshire Avenue NW, DC], the party kicks off at 6:30pm with music by Once Okay Twice. There will be a comedy conceptual by the Pink Line Project, a unique hybrid of performance art, stand-up comedy, philosophy and mass media culture. There will be secret menu itews and insider tips on local restaurants with food writer Nevin Martell. The party will wrap up at 8pm. [Click flyer to enlarge]

At the Renaissance Arlington Capital View [2800 South Potomac Avenue, Arlington], the night begins with a wine tasting with Marcus Johnson's Flo Wines from California at 5pm. At 5:30 comes the unique live music from Bravenoise; a mix of pop hooks, heavy grooves, and flavors of reggae, latin and rock. Guests are encouraged to then meet in the lobby at 7:30 for a one-hour ghost tour of Alexandria led by a costumed guide with a lantern. [Click flyer to enlarge]
