Why: The Official Swedish Christmas Celebration in Washington, D.C. Hosted by SWEA Washington DC, and supported by the Swedish Embassy and House of Sweden. Come experience and learn about Swedish Christmas traditions and enjoy excellent Swedish baked goods! The event will include a raffle with great prices from Icelandair, the Four Seasons and Georgetown Inn, a silent auction with signed jerseys from NHL greats Nicklas Bäckström and Marcus Johansson, and more! The Santa Lucia Procession will sing Swedish Christmas carols along with Swedish arts and crafts; crystal, textiles, artwork, decorations and much more on sale. The event is free and open to the public!
