When did you start ANTHOM and why?
ASHLEY: A year or so after college, I began to grow tired of this 'fast fashion' trend. Spending so much money on poorly made clothing that never fit right, and I didn't love - I would wear the items a few times and throw them away. I decided I wanted to save that money I was spending on these fast fashion items and invest in special, timeless pieces that I love. With that foundation, ANTHOM began to develop. We decided to start ANTHOM for many reasons. Not only was it to create a destination for special, well-made pieces but also to capture our appreciation for craftsmanship, art and design.
