When you’re not tirelessly working, what’s a typical weekend for you in DC? Any favorite spots?
ERIKA: I love the beer garden in Shaw, and it has all these strung lights. It doesn’t have any marketing on it, there’s no sign. It’s just open with picnic tables. I recently went to El Centro on 14th, and it was the first weekend it was really nice out... I was drinking margaritas on the rooftop! I also really love Marvin. I honestly like things that are a little bit underground. I hate crowds and clubby places. It’s not really my thing. I like to sit at the bar and just chill. I like an under-the-radar crowd.
