Still, the winter can be really harsh on our bodies and immune systems. What do you recommend for staying healthy and glowing? 1. Exercise - endorphins!! But make sure to dry off after your workout so that you're not walking around with wet hair and clothes in the cold. 2. Take vitamin D3 pills but be sure to ask your doctor the right dosage amount for you.  Also, omega fatty acids are very important as well. Load up on fish oils and oily fish like salmon 3. Avoid super sugary foods because the high followed by the drop will fuel depression. Also, avoid excess caffeine and alcohol which follows the same pattern. 4. Eat really warming and comforting foods (like pho, soups, brown rice dishes, roasted vegetables and meats) and good proteins (like lentils, chickpeas and good quality meat). 5. Take hot yoga classes to cleanse and restore your body's vitality.
