Are you looking for a photographer, a party planner, a graphic designer? Well, look no further than Fortique, an online marketplace that connects service-seekers with DMV's very own creative talent. Launched in February of 2013 by UVA graduate Stephanie Olvey, the website provides talented service providers a platform to sell their product and a marketplace for all of those who are just too busy to plan the party they promised they would.
Fortique is getting some street cred with DC bloggers and business owners. Launching next week is the TasteMaker Intiative, that allows our favorite DC creatives to hand pick their favorite service providers on Fortique. The TasteMakers will include Nikki Rappaport of Cupcakes for Breakfast, Bree Ryback of Capitol Romance and Justin Harrison of VinoLovers, just to name a few!
