Last night, young DC professionals packed Bar 7 to hear soul garage band, Black Alley. The 2011 winner for the DMV Best Live Performance, Black Alley in known for its energetic, soulful performances.
Following a much needed happy hour by all, the band hit the stage with an amazing cover of Goyte's Somebody That I Used To Know, which sent guests into a head-bobbing, arm-waving frenzy! Lead singer Kacey continued to wow the crowd with her sultry yet rich voice covering Beyonce's Countdown, Pink's Pill and the much anticipated Fun's We Are Young. Black Alley also played a few of their own hip-moving hits, including: Heavy Hitters, Shake Stop and Bad Girl.
Pretty much any time Black Alley performs in DC, guests are in for an electrifying experience. They play at Bar 7 every Thursday at 9pm.
