Other details: On Wednesday, December 31, a bevy of DC’s finest conspirators and carousers gathered at Dock5 to ring in 2015 in style at the 007 “Diamonds are Forever” James Bond Black Tie Affair, co-hosted by the illustrious partier, Shep Rose from Bravo TV’s Southern Charm. Located in the heart of the historic Union Market district, the unique warehouse venue was transformed into James Bond’s playground embellished with cool gadgets, salacious dancers, giant chocolate fountains, and surprise glittering exploits. The sellout event was filled with all kinds of gentleman super-spies and dazzling Bond Girl bombshells who enjoyed drinking their Redbull Vodkas (shaken, not stirred) from the 4-hour open bar. Champagne consumed the night as Misspent Youth, DJ Ramsey Neville, and DJ Stu Nibley brought Bond’s covert world to life, playing classic hits and risqué tracks all night long. Those who were brave enough to continue the debauchery into the early hours of the morning, paraded into the official 007 after-party at Echostage to see the electroman himself, Benny Benassi play his final set. The 3rd annual NYE celebration, 007 Diamonds are Forever, was presented by Washingtonian Events, Roxy J Events, and Capitale DC; sponsors included Redbull, Moet Chandon, Bud Light, and Belvedere Vodka.
