Other details: The famed The Source restaurant on Pennsylvania Ave, NW, next to the Newseum, hosted a private reopening party with renowned Founder and Celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck and Executive Chef Scott Drewno. The event welcomed guests to view the newly renovated bar/lounge and custom-built hotpot table while enjoying a wide array of both new and already coveted menu items. Servers brought steamed duck buns, fried lobster rolls and spicy crab dumplings and guests perused tasting tables including miso soup chef request creations, on-site cut pork belly and oyster plates and fresh sushi.
Aside from the flowing champagne and wine by Boxwood Winery in Middleburg, attendees flocked to the outdoor balcony for rum cocktails in signature ceramic tiki totem (take home!) cups in the spirit of The Source's new Tiki Tuesday happy hour celebration.
