Will Farrell accepted the award in a lighthearted ceremony, which will air on PBS stations nationwide on October 31. He brought his wife Viveca Paulson. Conan O'Brien, Jack Black, Matthew Broderick, Ben Stiller and the rock band Green Day performed in Ferrell's honor. Also spotted: Molly Shannon, Tim Meadows, Andy Samberg, Ed Asnor, Adam McKay, and PBS's Gwen Ifill.
