The Women\'s Committee of the Washington Ballet turned the historic Chamber of Commerce Building into a 1920\'s Prohibition Ball.

Septime Webre\'s adaptation of the classic novel, The Great Gatsby, will be on stage at the Kennedy Center November 2-6, hence the theme.

[The period looks at the soiree did not disappoint; the hairpiece on the right is from Tiffany\'s!]

There was a live performance by ballet dancers, some really good food, a robust silent auction and lots of people exercising their right to imbibe in the name of the Washington Ballet!
