Dating app Hinge, which matches potential couples through mutual facebook friends in Washington, DC, announced in a release today that they have surpassed 10,000 users and are now available for download on Android.

The iPhone app launched exclusively in DC just before Valentine's Day. The company plans to open up shop in New York very soon and tend to the 3,000 singles on their NYC wait list.

Hinge is unique in that it caters to an affluent 20-something demographic, and allows for discreet matchmaking (so no one knows you're browsing unless you want them to). Users can "save" their matches, or inquire about a match to their mutual friends.
