Velvet and layering. Velvet is a sure way to change up textures and stay warm -- it's also super wearable on any piece, whether it's a blazer, leggings, or shorts. Layering is so important for winter, not only to stay warm but to pile on as many winter accessories as possible. I love doing a warm oversized sweater with a pair of skinnies. I top it off with a fur lapel or vest and always a big wool scarf!
