Last night's happy hour at Poste Moderne Brasserie marked the one year anniversary of DC Food Bloggers happy hours, and to celebrate, they did what they do best...ate. And blogged about it.
A private section of Poste's impressive garden in Penn Quarter was roped off for District area foodies to sip and munch. Poste offered discounted drinks and appetizers for the crowd, who snacked on truffle fries and sipped wine while discussing their culinary achievements and aspirations.
The even, hosted by local food bloggers Jenna Hunstberger of Modern Domestic and Amelia Showalter of Gradually Greener, was a huge success. We had a great time chatting with patrons such as @GregsListDC, @FloridaGirlinDC and @FrenchTwistDC.
